Our website, https://cleverchat.ai (hereinafter: "the website"), sets no cookies of its own. In this privacy policy, we explain which data is processed when you visit the website and use its forms, and what rights you have.
2. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that is sent along with pages of a website and stored by your browser on your computer or device. The information in the cookie may be sent to the website's servers or to the servers of relevant third parties when you visit the website again.
3. What are scripts?
A script is a piece of code that makes our website work properly and as expected. This code runs either on our server or on your device.
4. Technical or functional cookies
Technical or functional cookies ensure that certain parts of a website work properly and that your user preferences are remembered. The website does not need such cookies and therefore does not set them.
5. Cookies and third-party content on this website
The website sets no cookies and uses no statistics, analytics or marketing tools. Fonts are loaded from our own server. If a page contains an embedded video, it is loaded from Vimeo with the “do not track” setting. When you send the contact form, and if many attempts have been made from your network in a short time in “See your chatbot”, we ask you to confirm that you are not a robot. This uses Google reCAPTCHA, which is loaded only in those cases. Google then receives your IP address and information about your browser and how you use the page, and may set a cookie used to tell people from robots. The data may be transferred to the USA. 6. Forms on this website
6.1 The contact form
When you write to us through the contact form, your name, company name, email address, phone number, industry and message are sent by email to our sales team. If you tried “See your chatbot” first, the web address you entered there is included, so we know what you are interested in. Your enquiry is also stored in our customer system (HubSpot), so we can follow it up. We use this information only to answer and follow up on your enquiry.
6.2 “See your chatbot”
When you enter a web address in “See your chatbot”, we use it to fetch that website's public front page and create a welcome message from it. The result is kept in memory for up to 24 hours, so the same address is not processed twice. Your IP address is used only to limit the number of attempts and is not stored. The web address is also remembered in your browser's session storage (not a cookie) until you close the tab, so it can be included if you write to us afterwards.
7. Enabling/disabling and deleting cookies
You can use your internet browser to delete cookies automatically or manually. You can also specify that certain cookies may not be placed. Another option is to change the settings of your internet browser so that you receive a message each time a cookie is placed. For more information about these options, please refer to the instructions in the Help section of your browser.
8. Your rights with respect to personal data
You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- You have the right to know why your personal data is needed, what will happen to it and how long it will be retained.
- Right of access: You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you.
